Losing your hair to cancer treatment or alopecia can feel like one more thing taken from you. This afternoon is about giving some of it back: time to explore your options in the hair loss community, try on wigs in a private and judgment-free space, and leave knowing exactly what works for you.

How to qualify for a free wig

40free wigs, sponsored by the Bombshell Strong Foundation

To receive a free wig, bring medical documentation from your oncologist or dermatologist that states a diagnosis or reason for your hair loss. Any of these works:

  • A letter from your oncologist or dermatologist
  • A prescription for a wig or cranial prosthesis
  • A doctor's note describing your medical hair loss

Shopping for a medical wig?

Ask your doctor for a prescription for a "cranial prosthesis" and bring it with you. It may be covered by your insurance, HSA, or FSA, and event-day discounts apply too.

Bring your documentation with you on the day. You don't need to share any medical details to register.

This event is open to the public. Bring your sister, your best friend, or whoever keeps you smiling, even if they don't have alopecia or medical hair loss.

Everyone who comes gets our event-day discounts on wigs, plus a fitting and try-on with our stylists.
